XT 219 26 February 1967. The day after the carburettor change. It had been air tested and flown by Lt Uzzell immediately after the test and also on the morning of 26 Feb with the CO as a passenger. He saw a patrol in the Wadi Bijayr and wanted the unit photographer to take piccies. Lt Uzzell handed over to Sgt Blevins - this crash happened as he was about to land on the outcrop. He was a lucky man as on three sides there was a 3-400' drop. As is shown in Gallery one - the photograher took a photo of Sgt Blevins smoking his first cigarette in 8 years!
